Un ex-prête et ministre arrêté et un un fusil d’assaut rétrouvé dans sa résidence
La Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH) a procédé à l’interpellation du nommé Mondesir Evens, le mercredi 17 mai 2023, dans le cadre de l’enquête ouverte autour de l’enlèvement suivi de la disparition du sieur Max Harry Titus, le lundi 10 mai 2023 près de son domicile.
En effet, Mondesir Evens a été arrêté pour son implication présumée dans la perpétration de cet acte après avoir été en possession du SIM du téléphone de la victime après son enlèvement.
Auditionné le même jour sur les faits, il a avoué que l’acte a été perpétré par le nommé Limond Toussaint accompagné de deux autres individus abord de son Véhicule de couleur noire.
Aussitôt informée, une opération a été menée par la Direction Centrale de la Police Judiciaire à Delmas au domicile de Limond Toussaint, le jeudi 18 mai 2023 aux fins de son interpellation, ont fait savoir les autorités policières.
Parallèlement le même jour, une autre opération a été réalisée dans sa deuxième résidence à Jacmel où un fusil d’assaut de calibre T65 de série 108439, a été confisqué.
Présentement, les nommés Evens Mondesir et Limond Toussaint sont gardés à vue à la DCPJ pour enlèvement suivi de disparition et détention illégale d’arme de guerre en attendant les suites de l’enquête en cours, a précisé la PNH.
